Where does Ohio State fall in the latest CFP rankings?

The latest CFP rankings have been released and Ohio State — predictably — has dropped, but just down to No. 7 after the 42-27 loss to Michigan on Saturday. The Buckeyes aren’t completely out of the picture, but there would have to be a lot of things happen for them to get back in the mix and conversation.

Ahead of OSU are Georgia (1), Michigan (2), Alabama (3), Cincinnati (4), Oklahoma State (5), and Notre Dame (6). Rounding out the top ten is Ole Miss (8), Baylor (9), and Oregon (10).

Again, this isn’t meant to give Buckeye fans hopes, but at least put on some Hawkeyes’ gear and root for Georgia to beat Alabama, Iowa to beat Michigan, Cincinnati to lose, and Baylor to beat Oklahoma State. It also wouldn’t hurt for Oregon to lose to Utah. Then, things get interesting across the board and who knows what happens.
