Where does average age of Bengals’ roster rank in NFL?

The Cincinnati Bengals no longer have one of the youngest rosters in the NFL.

As the team heads into year three of the Zac Taylor era, the roster reset has continually added more and more veterans, bumping the average age.

According to post-draft metrics from Andrew Walker of the Colts’ official website, the Bengals rank 12th in terms of average age at 25.04 years of age.

That’s still not terribly far off the No. 1 spot (Rams, 24.62), but it’s a pretty good sign the Bengals are exiting the rebuild phase and the excuses that come along with doing things such as struggling in one-score games or on prime time.
