Each year, they rank the sides in Europe that are most financially sustainable. For 2025, Celtic are a new entry to the top 10, which reads as follows:
1 - Napoli (Italy)
2 - Silkeborg (Denmark)
3 - Molde (Sweden)
4 - Manchester City (England)
5 - Clermont Foot (France)
6 - Bayern Munich (Germany)
7 - Fiorentina (Italy)
8 - Celtic (Scotland)
9 - Elche (Spain)
10 - AGF Aarhus (Norway)
In their recent interim financial report that was published in February of this year, Celtic posted profits of £26.9 million, as well as a total revenue of £83.5 million.
Their profits from trading decreased by £5.1 million. Chairman Peter Lawell explained why.
He said: "The key drivers of this were the significant transfer spend incurred in the period, where we exceeded our record transfer spend twice, and the investment into the first team playing squad wage costs, and our continued investment into infrastructure, including our Barrowfield development, Lennoxtown and Celtic Park."
