Where Bulldogs are going in 2nd-3rd round mock drafts

After finishing the first round, there’s still a lot of Georgia Bulldogs available in 2nd-3rd round mock drafts. With the NFL Draft set to resume tonight at 7:00 P.M. here’s where you can expect your favorite Georgia products to go.

Sports Illustrated has Mecole Hardman going #61 overall to the Kansas City Chiefs. Hardman is falling to the Chiefs in a lot of mock drafts and would be a potential replacement for WR Tyreek Hill who is dealing with a potential suspension.

Additionally, SI has wide receiver Riley Ridley going to the Washington Redskins in the 3rd round at #76 overall. Ridley has been going to the Redskins at this pick in several NFL mock drafts and would be a great fit for Dwayne Haskins. The Redskins could use a possession receiver like Ridley.

SI has no other UGA players going in NFL Draft rounds 2-3.

CBS has WR Riley Ridley going to the Miami Dolphins at number 74 in the 3rd round. Ridley would have a year with stopgap QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and then be potentially paired with Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa or Georgia’s Jake Fromm. They also mock outside linebacker D’Andre Walker to the Pittsburgh Steelers at #75 overall in the Draft’s 3rd round.

I don’t see any true snubs for the Georgia Bulldogs in these mock drafts. D’Andre Walker, Riley Ridley, and Mecole Hardman all should be picked in the 2nd or 3rd rounds of the 2019 NFL Draft. Walker could slip to Day 3 due to his injury. One name to watch in C Lamont Gaillard, who has been previously mocked in the 3rd round. Alabama’s Quinnen Williams considered Gaillard the best player he went up against.

Isaac Nauta, Terry Godwin, Jonathan Ledbetter, Kendall Baker, Elijah Holyfield, and Natrez Patrick are all likely Day 3 picks, with Patrick being the most likely to go undrafted.
