Where are the Darkness Into Light venues in Dublin? When is it on and how do I register?

Next month, hundreds of thousands of people around the world will come together to walk from darkness into light in the fight against suicide and self-harm.

The annual event, which originally started in Ireland, is now a worldwide phenomenon.

The very first Darkness Into Light walk was launched by Pieta House founder Joan Freemanin 2009 and saw 400 people welcome in the dawn in the Phoenix Park.

Ten years on, it now takes place every year in 150 different locations around the globe, including cities as far off as San Francisco, Toronto, Hong Kong, Sydney and Auckland.

Darkness Into Light aims to spark conversations about mental health while taking in the breathtaking early summer sunrise.
