After a busy Day 1, the 49ers took Day 2 of the NFL draft off and didn’t make a pick in Rounds 2 or 3. They’re slated to get back to work on Day 3 though with picks in Rounds 5, 6 and 7.
Here’s a look at the 49ers’ draft so far and what picks they have left.

It’s going to be awhile on Day 3 before the 49ers make a selection barring a trade up. They could also add a late round pick if the Marquise Goodwin trade John Lynch has discussed comes to fruition.
Round 4 is the first round on the third day, so there’ll be 49 picks made before San Francisco is scheduled to be on the clock in the fifth round. There are still some intriguing players available on Day 3, so the 49ers have an opportunity to strengthen a draft class they’re already very excited about.
