Where 737 coronavirus cases have been recorded over the last 24 hours in Nottinghamshire

A  total of 737 coronavirus cases have been recorded across Nottinghamshire during the last 24 hours.

Across the city of Nottingham, 242 positive tests have been recorded.

Elsewhere across the county, the largest increases have been recorded in the district of Ashfield, with 121 cases, and across Mansfield where a further 90 cases have been recorded.

The data was published by the Government at 6.30pm on Monday, December 11.

Here is the latest daily area-by-area breakdown:

Ashfield - 6,099 (increase of 121).

Bassetlaw - 5,471 (increase of 34)

Broxtowe - 4,843 (increase of 64)

Gedling - 5,592 (increase of 67)

Mansfield - 4,906 (increase of 90)

Newark and Sherwood - 4,763 (increase of 64)

Nottingham - 22,427 (increase of 242)

Rushcliffe - 4,876 (increase of 55)

It comes as the number of people in the UK to have been given a first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine is nearly 2.3 million, according to Government figures.

Some 78,005 first doses have been given in Northern Ireland, on top of the 1,959,151 in England, 86,039 in Wales and 163,377 in Scotland, to give a UK total of 2,286,572.

So far, nearly 400,000 second doses have been administered, including 374,613 in England, 79 in Wales, 13,949 in Northern Ireland and, as of January 3, 36 in Scotland.

This gives a UK total of 388,677 second doses.
