Where 456 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Nottinghamshire

More than 450 new cases of coronavirus were reported across Nottinghamshire on Thursday, February 4, new data shows

The official recording of 456 positive infections in the county is an increase on Wednesday's figure, which stood at 436.

Rushcliffe and Gedling reported a low number of positive cases, while Nottingham city, Mansfield and Ashfield reported the highest numbers.

Mansfield 's number was up by 12 cases on yesterday's number, according to the Government's coronavirus dashboard.

Nationally, 20,634 people tested positive for the virus.

Here is the latest area-by-area breakdown as of February 4:

Ashfield -7,989 (increase of 74)

Bassetlaw - 6,671 (increase of 49)

Broxtowe - 6,054 (increase of 28)

Gedling - 6,869 (increase of 34)

Mansfield - 6,655 (increase of 57)

Newark and Sherwood - 5,868 (increase of 46)

Nottingham - 26,739 (increase of 135)

Rushcliffe - 5,850 (increase of 33)
