Where 231 cases of coronavirus have been recorded across Nottinghamshire in the last 24 hours

A total of 231 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the last 24 hours across Nottinghamshire.

The data was published by the Government at 4pm on Saturday, December 19.

The latest data represents a decline in cases when compared with that seen during the previous 24 hours, when a total of 534 new cases were confirmed from the previous 24 hours on Friday, December 18.

Overall, a total of 18,420 cases have now been recorded in the city of Nottingham since the start of the pandemic. Outside of the city, across the county, a further 26,954 cases of Covid-19 have been recorded.

Here is the latest daily breakdown area-by-area:

Ashfield - 4,110 (increase of 26)

Bassetlaw - 4,386 (increase of 44)

Broxtowe - 3,721  (increase of 13)

Gedling - 4,059 (increase of 25)

Mansfield - 3,473 (increase of 17)

Newark and Sherwood - 3,525 (increase of 26)

Nottingham   18,420 (increased of 68)

Rushcliffe - 3,680 (increase of 12)

Total increase: 231
