The Red Arrows are likely to be seen flying over Heywood on Saturday - after a SEVEN-MINUTE flight from Blackpool.
Planes piloted by daredevil RAF personnel will be en route back from the Isle of Man where they will perform at the Super Manx Bank Holiday Weekend, billed to 'put a smile back on Manx faces' after 18 months of the pandemic.
They will be returning to their base at Scampton in Lincolnshire via Blackpool and just seven minutes later they will be in the sky above Heywood as the team follows the M62 corridor home.

News of the flypast was trumpeted on social media, thanks to the RAF Coningsby Spotters Group.
It said the team would depart from Exeter in Devon at 10.50am, arriving at Blackpool at 11.26am before departing for the Isle of Man for their display at 2.29pm.
They will arrive in Blackpool at 3.10pm, leaving at 5.30pm, flying past Heywood at 5.37pm and home for 5.50pm.
The team was formed in late 1964 as an all-RAF team, replacing a number of unofficial teams that had been sponsored by RAF commands.
They have a prominent place in British popular culture, with their aerobatic displays a fixture of British summer events.
The badge of the Red Arrows shows the aircraft in their trademark diamond nine formation, with the motto Éclat, a French word meaning "brilliance" or "excellence".
