'When will they ever learn?' Leeds United fans have two reasons to take aim at Nottingham Forest

Leeds United supporters have been making the most out of Nottingham Forest's misfortunes after they dropped points against relegation-threatened Middlesbrough on Monday night.

Despite taking the lead at the Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough hit back and lead 2-1 thanks to Rudy Gestede and Lewis Wing.

Lewis Grabban rescued a point for the visitors but it proved to be more dropped points for Forest, who now trial Leeds by eight points.

Since beating the Whites on February 8, Forest have embarked on a run of one win in five matches, which has made automatic promotion unlikely.

Marcelo Bielsa's side, by contrast, have won four matches in that time, dropping only two points in that run.

That has taken Leeds fans back to a post from the Nottingham Forest official Twitter account, sent after beating United.

With the fortunes of those two clubs looking very different almost a month later, Leeds fans have been quick to remind Forest of that post.

Similarly, the rivalry between the two teams has been stoked up by supporters comparing their travelling contingent at the Riverside stadium, compared to Leeds' effort last week.

Leeds are back in action this weekend against Huddersfield Town, looking to make it six matches without defeat.
