Theme parks have closed their doors for the winter season, with thrill-seekers currently waiting for spring to return, bringing with it the chance to hit the rollercoasters once more.
It's worth noting that most of the closures aren't Covid-19 related; most theme parks are usually closed between November and March anyway.
While lockdown had cast doubts on when they could open, the new lockdown roadmap in England announced by Boris Johnson will allow theme parks to fully reopen from April 12.
At the time of writing, some theme parks had not yet confirmed if they would be looking to reopen on this date specifically.
We've put together a guide with the key dates and information for each individual theme park - check out the list below...
Alton Towers

Alton Towers was set to reopen in March but the resort will now open its theme park and 'self-contained accommodation' from April 12.
Meanwhile the Alton Towers Gardens will be open daily from March 29 to April 11, but pre-booking will be essential.
The resort's hotels, waterpark and spa are set to reopen from May 17.
Those who had theme park tickets booked before April 12 will be offered the option to rebook to a later date.

The resort has yet to confirm a reopening date for its Thorpe Shark Cabins but said that this is due within the coming days.
