Liverpool are now just two wins away for securing the Premier League title - regardless of what any other team in the top flight does from here on out.
Only second-placed Manchester City can now mathematically catch the Reds but there is a 25-point gap between the two sides so the odds are becoming increasingly unlikely for that to take place.
Jurgen Klopp's side would have to lose eight of their last nine games while City would have to win all of their remaining 10 to see the pole position change hands.
Elsewhere things are very tight with only five points separating Chelsea in fourth and Sheffield United, who have a game in hand on all the teams around them, in seventh.
