When will John Lewis reopen in Liverpool and what will it be like

Non-essential stores reopened across Liverpool yesterday with the exception of just a few, including the always-popular John Lewis.

While shops such as Primark, Zara and Sports Direct were met with enormous queues and eager customers, John Lewis remained closed to shoppers.

While other stores in Liverpool ONE have provided updates on when they will open, there has been no update from the high street retailer so far.

John Lewis has already started its reopenings, with 13 stores opening their doors across the UK on a trial basis this week.

Now, John Lewis has confirmed it will reopen its doors in Liverpool ONE on Thursday, June 25.

Signs are now up in the windows of the huge store in the city centre, announcing the news.

The store will be operating shorter opening hours, from 10am - 6pm Monday to Saturday, and 11am - 5pm on Sundays.

It looks like shoppers will be in for a treat once the store reopens too, with new signage in the windows announcing a sale.

When the store reopens there will be several changes in place, with fitting rooms and close-contact services such as beauty, personal styling appointments and nursery advice services closed.

In-store restaurants will also remain closed.

When the store reopens, vulnerable customers will be fast-tracked through the queue - all you need to do is speak to a customer service host at the entrance.
