Scotland's weather in the upcoming days will feature rain, gales, ice warnings with some snow predicted to hit parts of the country.
While today will be mild and blustery, unsettled wintry weather is on the way as northwesterly winds roll in on Thursday evening.
Wintry showers will blast across Scotland tonight, with an ice warning in place for western and northwestern Scotland this week.
The yellow weather warning lasts from midnight on Friday to 11am with the Met Office warning that icy patches could lead to 'tricky travel conditions'.
The Met Office says wintry showers will continue to fall on Friday and Saturday across Scotland, Northern Ireland, northwest England and parts of Wales.
But when and where will Scots see snow?
When will it snow in Scotland?

The Met Office says snow will fall in northern Scotland on Friday, accumulating 'significantly' in some areas.
Met Office meteorologist Aidan McGovern said: "Colder air pushes in from the northwest, temperatures drop away, a frost in northern parts of the UK, and wintry showers forming across Scotland, Northern Ireland, northwest England and parts of Wales."
He added: "Snow even to lower levels for northern Scotland accumulating significantly over the Highlands and Grampians.
"Fast forwarding to Friday afternoon, we're all in that showery northwesterly airflow and that means frequent wintry showers - sleet, hail, snow - for northern parts of the UK particularly over hills and feeling cold in the wind, but there will be sunshine in the east and southwest."
BBC Weather Scotland predicts that wintry showers will fall as far down as sea level on Friday.
The weather in Scotland on Saturday will be wet and windy with temperatures set at 7C to 8C as gales hit the coasts and high ground.
On Sunday, brighter skies are to come in Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland, but with blustery showers and colder temps at 6C to 7C.
