When Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder will take place as huge Anthony Joshua fight 'called off'

Tyson Fury's next bout is set to be the final fight in the trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder following a court order, putting plans for an all-British affair against Anthony Joshua in doubt.

Fury vs Joshua looked set to take place in Saudi Arabia on August 14th, in a historic fight where all four heavyweight titles would be on the line for the first time.

However, an arbitrator in the United States has ruled in favour of Wilder, who has long argued that he has a contractual agreement for a third fight against Manchester-born Fury.

That third fight was due to take place last year but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, with Fury's camp then pursuing a clash with Joshua instead.

Now though, it's likely that the next time Fury takes to the ring, it'll be against Wilder once again - and a prospective date for the battle in Las Vegas has been set.

While there have been suggestions that Wilder would be paid to step aside and allow the Fury-Joshua fight to take place, the Gypsy King's promoter Bob Arum has dismissed those suggestions.

Speaking to ESPN, he confirmed that he has reserved the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for a trilogy fight on July 24.

"We're not paying Wilder to step aside. It's better to get rid of him and go about our business. We can make the Fury-Joshua fight for November or December."

Moving the proposed Fury-Joshua fight has challenges though, as terms will have to be agreed between both fighters, hosts Saudi Arabia and the four governing bodies in boxing representing each title up for grabs.

Joshua could now face Oleksandr Usyk in his next fight, who is a mandatory challenger for his WBO belt.
