Tottenham Hotspur have learned when they are set to play each team in the 2021/22 Premier League season.
Beginning the season against Manchester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Spurs fans will certainly have wondered when their standout London derbies are set to take place.
It appears, barring any last minute rearrangements, that Spurs get reacquainted with their near neighbours relatively quickly.
Chelsea are set to come five matches into the new campaign on September 18. The reigning European champions travel to North London ahead of a 3pm kick-off.
This match then follows straight into another clash of the capital clubs the following weekend as Spurs travel to the Emirates Stadium on September 25 for the first league North London derby of the season.
Those two fixtures are then set to repeat in January but in reverse.
Tottenham welcome Arsenal on January 15, that game initially scheduled to kick off at 3pm before again doing battle with Chelsea just a week later at Stamford Bridge.
Ironically, the back-to-back nature of the London fixtures is almost a carbon copy of last year’s fixture list.
Spurs at first travelled to Stamford Bridge in November, drawing 0-0, before a 2-0 victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against North London rivals Arsenal.
Thomas Tuchel then earned his first Chelsea win against Spurs with a 1-0 success at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the Gunners then also earning a victory at the Emirates with a 2-1 success, albeit just over a month later
