Bad timing for Sky executives showing media hacks around the new Sky Studios on Tuesday, Monkey hears. As they were ushered into one of the new studios, on the monitor was live news footage of how the News of the World phone hacking scandal might impact on News Corp's takeover of BSkyB. Cue a quick scrambling by execs to try to turn the sound down. Alas, the dial was turned the wrong way and the volume increased. Finally, after some fumbling, the coverage was silenced. Not so in real life, unfortunately for Sky.
