Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and every Premier League club are running out of time to seal transfers before deadline day is upon us.
Last year's summer transfer window closed in October due to the massive disruption throughout the football world caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
For two years prior to that, the Premier League imposed a transfer deadline ahead of the start of the new season - a decision unpopular among a number of clubs.
According to the Guardian, clubs felt that the early closure of the window, while other leagues stayed open, left them exposed to losing players to without the opportunity to replace them.
As a result, in February last year, the Premier League voted to revert to the same summer transfer window as Europe’s other major leagues.
Of course, that couldn't come into play in the summer of 2020 for the reasons mentioned above, but the Premier League announced in May that the next window would remain open until the end of August.
A statement read: "The Premier League has today confirmed the dates for the Summer 2021 Transfer Window.
"The window will open for 12 weeks from 9 June and will close at 23:00 BST on 31 August.
"This will align with other European leagues."
All of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham have made big moves in the summer transfer window, with the Gunners sealing a £50million move for Ben White, Chelsea breaking their club record transfer fee to bring in Romelu Lukaku.
While Spurs have added Cristian Romero on an initial loan deal with an option to buy for €50m (£42.8m) with a further €5m (£4.2m) in add-ons.
But the business is not yet done. Arsenal continue to be linked with a number of players, such as Houssem Aouar, and are trying to move out some current members of the squad to reduce the wage bill, with Joe Willock already leaving for Newcastle in a £25m deal.
Chelsea, meanwhile, have been heavily linked with a move for Jules Kounde while Kurt Zouma could be leaving Stamford Bridge for West Ham. Spurs are said to be in talks to sign Metz midfielder Pape Sarr, while Harry Kane's future in north London remains in the balance.
