The fixtures are out and so too is the date for the new Scottish Premiership season’s opening Edinburgh derby.
The capital giants will first clash at Hibs’ Easter Road on September 21 with a 3pm kick-off, although as ever all fixtures are subject to change due to TV.
Hearts then host Paul Heckingbottom’s side on Boxing Day at Tynecastle in what is always a mouthwatering end to Christmas.
Unless both teams finish in the same half of the league before the split the final derby is scheduled for March 4 at Easter Road.
However, Edinburgh’s finest are likely to make the top six and will therefore face off again in April or May afte rthe split.
