The first South Wales derby of the season will take place at the Liberty Stadium on October 16, it has been revealed.
Swansea City and Cardiff City's fixture lists have this morning been revealed and, as always, both sets of fans will be zeroing in on when they face their bitter rivals in the coming season.

And they first clash between these old rivals will see the Swans host the Bluebirds in SA1 more than two months into the season.
It's a long wait until the return fixture, though, because supporters will have to wait until April 2 for the fixture to take place in the Welsh capital.
It will be a long old wait for the losing team in that first encounter, that's for sure, especially given that no team has ever completed a league double in the same season over their rivals.
Last season, the Swans blew Cardiff away with a stunning 2-0 win at Cardiff City Stadium back in December, with Jamal Lowe netting both goals on that occasion.

However, a resurgent Bluebirds side under Mick McCarthy ensured Cardiff got their own back at the Liberty Stadium back in March, when an early Aden Flint header earned a 1-0 win for the visitors that day.
