And the London grime artist added to his most Manchester of days by meeting one of Corrie's longstanding favourites.
The Vossi Bop hitmaker was all smiles as he posed in a United shirt for a photo with Antony Cotton who plays barman and Underworld machinist Sean Tully in Coronation Street.

Hundreds of festival-goers had gathered at the Parklife Stage to watch BRIT award and Mercury prize winner Dave perform.
Writing on Twitter, one fan wrote: "Stormzy just came out at Dave my life will forever be complete wow wow wow."
And festival organiser Sacha Lord shared a video of the moment with the words "To end day 1 @Parklifefest, Dave has just brought out Stormzy as a surprise. 80,000 happy faces."
