When should the Colts draft an edge rusher?

The Indianapolis Colts spent some capital in free agency to address their pass rush, but there is still the expectation they will add to the unit during the 2019 NFL Draft.

In the front seven, the Colts currently have a solid mixture of veteran presence and youthful talent at the edges. They added another force in free agency in the form of Justin Houston, which could allow the Colts confidence to wait on selecting an edge rusher.

Along with Houston, the Colts have Jabaal Sheard as another veteran leading the front seven. In terms of youth, they are hoping the games of Kemoko Turay, Al-Quadin Muhammad and Tyquan Lewis develop in 2019 as a steady force off the edge.

Even with this mixture of talent, the Colts are likely a team that will add to the edges during the draft. It will always be a priority with general manager Chris Ballard to find ample pass rushers to work in the rotation.

There are several options for the Colts during the draft. But when should they choose to add to the edge? Let us know in the poll below!
