The factchecking enterprise is a necessary one in an age where fake news is flourishing. Yet some factchecking is perhaps not truly necessarily, if audiences have a slight sense of humour and sufficient common sense to identify satire. We take a look at one or two examples loosely connected to the war in Ukraine. But first, Twitter takes down a tweet by the Russian embassy in the UK after deeming it completely false.
