The signing of Ryan Sessegnon is done and dusted, and Tottenham Hotspur supporters are very excited to see their new signing in action.
The wonderkid was one of two new arrivals at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on transfer deadline day - along with Giovani Lo Celso - in a move which is certainly a signal of intent for the north London outfit going into the new campaign.
With Spurs' Premier League season just over 24 hours from getting underway, Mauricio Pochettino will be keen to see his new signing in action to assess his fitness levels and how he settles into the squad.
However, it's unlikely that Sessegnon will be fit to face Aston Villa tomorrow evening.
This is because he's still coming back from a hamstring injury sustained during the England U21's European Championships group phase defeat at the hands of Romania in June.
His former Fulham manager Scott Parker provided an update just last week.
"He’s rehabbing back to a point where he can feature," Parker said, as per West London Sport .
"We’ll try everything we can [to keep him].
"We’ll see what will happen from there but at this present time, with 10 days [of the transfer window] to go, he’s a Fulham player and we fully expect him to rehab back from his injury and play a big part."

At present there's no timeframe for Sessegnon's return from injury.
But the teenager will certainly have one eye on next week's clash against champions Manchester City as well as the north London derby against Arsenal early next month.
Whenever that first appearance takes place, Spurs fans are going to love seeing him in action.
