When crazy golf course at Cabot Circus will fully reopen after flooding

Rumble in the Jungle in Cabot Circus will reopen fully in time for the Easter holidays after a burst pipe flooded the course .

The pipe, which is reportedly from the KFC restaurant next door, burst overnight at the weekend and not only flooded the indoor crazy golf course but affected shops below it on the ground floor.

A member of staff at Rumble In The Jungle, who arrived at work to find the course submerged in water on Saturday (March 30), said the closure was a 'massive inconvenience'.

"The water was really deep so there was no way we could have opened," he said.

I ate at Bristol's Wetherspoons every day for a week - this is what I learned

"We managed to finally open at 5pm after most of the water had been drained away but we could only open the course furthest away from KFC - the one next to it is still soaking wet and closed off.

"It has been a massive inconvenience to be honest and means we've lost out on most of our business today, although thankfully the damage will be covered by insurance."

The venue has reopened to customers but only one of the golf courses can currently be played on.

A member of the staff also confirmed today (April 1) that the entire course will be fully open by Easter half term.

He added that the damage to the course is expected to cost between £10,000 and £15,000 but will be covered by insurance,

The other shops affected, clothes shop Oasis and health shop Holland & Barrett, were open as usual today.

'We worked hard to rectify the issue'

A spokesperson for Cabot Circus previously said: “We’re sorry some of our shoppers missed out on the chance to visit Rumble in the Jungle yesterday due to a burst pipe in a nearby store.

"We worked hard to rectify the issue as quickly as possible and the adventure golf experience is now open.”
