When Rangers and Celtic will learn Betfred Cup knock-out opponents and dates matches will be played

Rangers and Celtic will learn their Betfred Cup knock-out opponents when the draw is made on Sunday evening.

The final group stage matches will be played this weekend, with the draw taking place straight after Hibs' clash with Dundee at Easter Road. This match kicks off at 4.30pm on Sunday, 15 November.

Fans can watch the draw live on Premier Sports 1, with holders Celtic joining last year's finalists Rangers along with Motherwell, Aberdeen and 12 qualifying teams from the group stages in the hat.

The eight group winners along with the four best runners-up will make it through to the round of 16. At present the likes of Hibs, Hearts, Dundee United, Ross County, St Mirren and Livingston are well placed to progress.

The knock-out matches will take place across the weekend Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November.

The Betfred Cup final has been held before the new year in recent seasons, but has been shifted to a later date this time around due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 28 February 2021.
