When PS5 will be back in stock at Curry's, Amazon, Game, John Lewis and more

Every PS5 console in the UK has now sold out according to creators Sony.

The console went on sale across the country this week, leaving customers who hadn’t managed to secure a pre-order disappointed as they struggled to get their hands on one.

While those with pre-orders queued up outside stores to collect the device, others were searching online for the PS5 for hours, as retailers staggered release times for new stock.

Chains such as Game , Amazon, Currys, John Lewis and Argos were all sold out within hours, leaving many shoppers raging as websites crashed due to demand .

Now Jim Ryan, the head of Sony Interactive Entertainment, has reportedly said every single PS5 currently available has sold out, according to PushSquare.

But when will the Playstation 5 be back in stock?

According to Amazon’s website, the retailer does not know “when or if this” the console will be back in stock.

Argos’ customer service team tweeted that the retailer had only secured stock for pre-sale orders, and had no further information on receiving more stock.

A statement on the John Lewis website said: “Thank you to everyone who has visited us and placed an order for a PS5.We are now out of stock.

“Unfortunately, PlayStation 5 consoles will not be available for purchase at our John Lewis & Partners shops or from our contact centres.”

A note on Curry’s website says the retailer is “working tirelessly to secure more stock” and customers should check back for updates.

Game has yet to update shoppers on PS5 stock, while online retailer Studio says it is “trying to secure more stock in the coming weeks”.

The standard version of the PS5 is priced at £449.99, while the digital version costs £359.99.
