Conditions are expected to improve slightly tomorrow (Monday, February 17), but the week ahead in Bristol looks largely unsettled.

Monday will see sunny patches as well as heavy downpours, with the worst of the rain expected late in the morning.

The wind is expected to die down with highs of 35 miles per hour, which is tamer than it has been this weekend.

Tuesday is likely to be a similar story with heavy showers interspersed with periods of sunshine, while Wednesday will see heavy rain in the afternoon.

Thursday looks set to be another wet day with heavy showers predicted until the late afternoon, but Friday looks drier with a low chance of precipitation all day - although it's unlikely we'll see any sunshine.
