The current heatwave is set to end with a bang this weekend as the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain.
Most parts of Wales are covered by the warning that is in place from midnight on Saturday, July 24 and Sunday, July 25 with the potential for up to 100mm in places.
There is also a strong chance of thunderstorms in areas on Sunday.

It comes after week of record-breaking temperatures and the first ever extreme heat warning issued. Usk was the hot spot in Wales on Tuesday with a high of 31°C. It is once again expected to 31°C on Wednesday, then 30°C on Thursday, 28°C on Friday, 23°C on Saturday and 24°C on Sunday.
This is the warning for Saturday and Sunday:
The rain warning for the weekend states: "Outbreaks of rain and some thunderstorms are expected to spread from the southwest on Friday night, this introducing unsettled conditions to much of England and Wales for Saturday and Sunday.
"Heavy, thundery showers are likely to break out by day, particularly on Sunday when these could be widespread and locally torrential.
"Lightning and hail are also expected. Rainfall amounts will vary from place to place, but there is the potential for up to 100 mm to build up in some locations over the course of the weekend, much of which could fall in a short period of time."

- Swansea
- Torfaen
- Vale of Glamorgan
- Wrexham.
Welsh weather forecaster Derek Brockway says: "The heatwave will breakdown this weekend with low pressure bringing showers or longer spells of rain. These could be heavy and thundery."
Next week looks to continue unsettled, but the Met Office long range forecast has warmer weather once again f orecast for the start of August.
