It has been a busy summer transfer window for Leeds United.
Following their promotion back to the Premier League, Leeds have spent in the region of £100million on new signings.
They have brought in the likes of Rodrigo from Valencia, Diego Llorente from Real Sociedad, Robin Koch from Freiburg and Raphina from Rennes, while making the loan deals of Helder Costa and Illan Meslier permanent.
A number of younger players have been recruited as well, including Joe Gelhardt, Sam Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville.
Each Premier League club can only register 25 players over the age of 21 for the first team every season.
Of those 25 players, no more than 17 can be "non-home grown" players.
So, to fill a squad of 25 players over the age of 21, a team must have at least eight homegrown players.
Homegrown players are classified as having been developed at an academy of a club in the English football pyramid for at least three seasons prior to their 21st birthday - but under-21 players are eligible over and above the limit of 25 players per squad.
Leeds should have no issue in filling these criteria, given the number of number of domestic-based players in their squad.
The main summer transfer window closed on Monday night.
However, Leeds and their Premier League rivals can still do business with their EFL counterparts until 5pm on Friday, October 16, as part of an extended domestic window.
And another deadline is soon to follow for Marcelo Bielsa.
Premier League clubs have until Tuesday, October 20, to register their updated squads.
