Here is your Leeds United morning digest for Friday, July 3.
When Leeds fans will be allowed back into Elland Road
The question on all Leeds United fans' lips, apart from will the club win promotion this season, is when will they be allowed back into Elland Road?
According to leeds-live sources, test events could be held as early as this month under an observation programme, with plans for certain sports, which could include the Premier League, to formally open their doors to fans for the first time in August.
All sports would then be allowed to welcome fans back into stadiums in late August and early September, with social distancing restrictions in place, should they wish to do so.
Radrizzani admits 2018 mistake
Leeds United Chairman Andrea Radrizzani admitted that it was a 'mistake' to launch Sports subscription service Eleven Sports in the UK.
The Leeds chief is Chairman and founder of the company, which launched in the UK in 2018 where it offered exclusive coverage of the Ultimate Fighting Championships and La Liga a Serie A games.
However, the UK launch was not a success, with the network forced to give up its premium rights in the UK after less than a year.
And Radrizzani has admitted that trying to break into the UK market may not have been the best move.
Sky Sports announce another Leeds TV fixture
Sky Sports have announced a further four Championship games have been selected for live broadcast.
The broadcaster has shown 10 live matches since the season restarted back in June, and this latest reveal covers games until July 12.
Among the fixtures confirmed for live broadcast by the EFL this afternoon are Luton Town’s trip to Huddersfield Town, and Leeds United’s trip to Swansea City.
