Leeds United fans will not have long to wait before discovering when their visit to Arsenal will be scheduled in the FA Cup, LeedsLive understands.
While the EFL has strict deadlines in place for the announcement of television selections in the Championship, there are no such rules in place for the FA Cup.
Live television selections for the second round were revealed just 15 days before the matches took place, leaving many fans waiting to finalise their travel plans.
However, it is understood the TV picks, and as a result kick-off times for every tie, should be announced before the week is out.
As it stands, United travel to West Bromwich Albion on New Year’s Day before hosting Sheffield Wednesday 11 days later at Elland Road.
The trip to Emirates Stadium could be on any one of January 3, 4, 5 or 6.
