When it comes to Super Bowl LIV odds, fans aren’t buying the Cincinnati Bengals

It doesn’t seem like many are buying heavily into the Cincinnati Bengals.

Given the small market and already suffering a season-ending injury to a first-round pick, among other items, folks around the globe aren’t gobbling up the Bengals as Super Bowl contenders.

According to Ben Fawkes of ESPN in the tweet above, bettors are spending the fewest tickets and dollars on the Bengals in Super Bowl LIV odds.

Bengals fans will likely gravitate toward the fact the Cleveland Browns rank second in the tickets section. But as always, it is important to keep in mind these Bengals, led by quiet stars like Geno Atkins and A.J. Green enjoy the underdog slot.

And the Bengals will have plenty of work to do as an underdog given the problems along the offensive line again. Not only is the entire team trying to adjust to a new culture and playbooks, Jonah Williams is likely lost for the season, so the line looks mostly the same as the unit that struggled so much a season ago.

For bettors willing to look past some of the problems from a stance of optimism, the Bengals clearly represent an incredible payout. But a simple return to playoff contention in a tough-looking division is a good place to start for Zac Taylor’s debut year.
