The X Factor is back...but not as we know it!
The normal version of the hit ITV show has been scrapped for the first time in 15 years and in its place are an Allstars series, which is set to air before Christmas and X Factor: Celebrity which will be on TV in the very, very near future.
Simon Cowell heads up the judging panel for the show and is joined by Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger with includes everyone from Love Island contestants to Ricki Lake.
Talking about why he's doing a celebrity version of The X Factor, Simon said: "It just felt so obvious to do a celebrity version.
"The only condition was I couldn’t know who was going to be on it.
"I said to the team, 'You’ve got to find some acts who you believe can sell records off the back of this, because if you don’t do that it won’t work.'
"So that was the deal and we stuck to it. I swear to God I didn’t have a clue who any of the acts were."
When is X Factor: Celebrity on?
The X Factor: Celebrity kicks off on Saturday, October 12 at 8.35pm on ITV. The second episode will follow next Saturday, October 19.
