When is Wales team to face the All Blacks being announced for Rugby World Cup play-off?

Wales must dust themselves down and prepare to face the All Blacks in the bronze final after a tight defeat to South Africa in the Rugby World Cup semi-final at the weekend.

Warren Gatland's men face New Zealand on Friday (9am UK kick-off time).

If you were wondering when Wales will reveal their team to face the All Blacks, the answer is 3am UK time on Wednesday, October 30, which will be midday local time out in Japan.

Wales return to training on Wednesday, and Wales coach Robin McBryde said they are regarding a number of players at the moment with regards to bumps and bruises.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, he said: "We're not bringing anyone in.

"We’ll see where anyone is at [after training].

"There is no pressure on anyone. We’re taking stock."

On the prospect of beating the All Blacks, he said: "It’s the only thing we haven’t done and it’s the last opportunity for this coaching staff.

"It’s a great experience and you’ve got to embrace it. Facing up to the haka.

"It would be good to get one over on Steve Hansen!

"I’ve got the utmost respect for him and Mike Cron.

"I just hope we go out there and express themselves."

Elsewhere, England face South Africa in the Rugby World Cup final on Saturday. Both sides are due to release their matchday teams on Thursday.
