Fans of BBC One's The Traitors are eagerly awaiting the show's return after it ended on a cliffhanger last week. In a shocking turn of events Alyssa, one of the traitors, was banished by the rest of the group after her fellow co-conspirators, Wilfred and Amanda, turned on her in a huge twist and voted her out. However, with one traitor voted off, presenter Claudia Winkleman told Wilfred and Amanda they could recruit a new traitor. The end of the episode that aired on Thursday, December 8 revealed they had picked Alex, however, viewers are yet to find out if she accepted the invitation.
A synopsis for the upcoming episode, reads: "After a shock banishment set the castle into a spin, the traitors were given a chance to strengthen – but will their plan be successful? Breakfast sees one faithful keeping a huge secret from the group, and the players are pushed harder than ever to try and win gold for the prize pot.

When is The Traitors next on BBC?
The next episode of The Traitors will air on Tuesday, December 13 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 9pm as planned. However, Wednesday night's instalment has been removed from the schedule to make way for the football coverage.
It means following episodes this week will air on Thursday, December 15 and Friday, December 16 at the same time on the same channel.
