The Scottish Government updated the list of countries on the green list yesterday in its latest review of travel restrictions.
Malta and Antigua were just two of the locations added to the list by the government, meaning that those returning will not have to quarantine on return.
Ministers also announced the list of nations or territories that were being placed on the amber and red lists.
The traffic light system came into effect in Scotland, and the rest of the UK, on May 17.
A number of countries have been added to it but have since been take off due to the rise in covid cases in the area.
Portugal was placed on the list then removed on June 3 which led to many Scots having to scramble home by getting earlier flights.

Previous Scottish Government updates took place on June 3 and 24.
Travel lists are expected to be updated every three weeks however if a destination becomes a risk then the government may take it off before then in a bid to prevent further spread of covid-19.
The next update is expected on Thursday, July 15.
All changes are expected to come into effect within a week of that date.
What are the rules for green list countries?
Before heading back to Scotland from a green list country must:
- Complete a passenger locator form
- Take a COVID test
- Book and pay £88 for a covid test, it should be done within two days of arriving in Scotland
