Here's everything you need to know about the 2021 Manchester Marathon.
When is the Manchester Marathon?
The Therme Manchester Marathon will be taking place this Sunday, October 10.
People participating in the event will be running 26.2 miles across the city centre and through Trafford, with support offered at every step of the way.

Can I still enter?
At the time of writing, there are still a handful of places to run the full marathon at the Manchester Marathon 2021.
95 per cent of places have been snapped up but you can register to run here for £74.50.
You can also still apply for the half marathon via the website here.
Entries for the half marathon cost £42 plus a booking fee and are open to anyone aged 17 and over.
Applications are also open for next summer's run which will take place in April 2022.
To register your interest for next year's event, you can do so via their website here.
If you still want to support the runners in your own way you can do so by attending the event as a spectator and cheering everyone on for a charitable cause.
Or, if you feel like going the extra mile, you can sign up for one of the many remaining volunteer roles on behalf of the organisers, Human Race- you’ll receive a medal, a packed lunch from Booths and a unique experience of the race.
Nick Rusling, CEO of Human Race said: “Manchester is already one of the flattest and fastest marathons, but we also want it to be known as the friendliest and most fun. Our fantastic volunteers play a huge role in making the event so unique and warmly welcoming the world to Manchester.
“Delivering an iconic event of this scale wouldn’t be possible without the dedication and enthusiasm of our volunteers on the day, whether they’re cheering runners along the route, handing out medals at the finish line or keeping people safely hydrated at one of our numerous water stations.
“We’re delighted that Booths has joined as our official volunteering partner, providing healthy meals for all our staff on the day and offering such a generous prize to one large group joining our volunteer team.”
Nigel Murray, Chief Operating Officer at Booths, said: “We’re delighted to partner with the Therme Manchester Marathon, it’s shaping up to be a great day out for both runners and volunteers raising valuable funds for charity.”
