After a near two-year-long hiatus, Love Island, Britain’s highly anticipated unofficial summer show, has finally come back with a new season and is yet to run for quite some time.
18 months of absence has really had an impact on the fans, who have been used to watch ITV2’s reality series since 2015.
Nevertheless, Laura Whitmore is now back on the Spanish island as the show's presenter along with her hubby, hilarious narrator, Iain Stirling.
Last summer season, which aired in 2019, saw Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea winning the iconic romantic competition.
Now, viewers will be pleased to see that they can finally go back to tweeting memes poking fun at the islanders and voting for their favourite contestants, as they tune in each night to watch a new episode.

11 cast members entered the Majorca villa on June 28, and we've already had one dumping and two new contestants.
Episodes have been airing every evening at 9pm, other than on Saturdays.
When is the final of Love Island 2021?
The date for the final of Love Island 2021 hasn't yet been officially announced.
However, as the last two summer series of Love Island counted for 49 episodes each, the seventh series can be expected to be a similar length.
ITV2’s reality show is expected to run for eight weeks, with one-hour episodes ending at 10pm.
Therefore Love Island is predicted to end on Monday 23 August, after which we will the winners of the class of 2021 will be announced.
The winning couple, who will be named favourite by the viewing public, will amass a total of £50,000, with the choice to either split the grand prize or for the favourite islander to keep the total sum for themselves.

As the new season has been airing for a week, a contestant has shockingly already been dropped from the villa on Day 1.
Shannon Singh, who was set to become the ultimate bombshell of the show, was inexplicably dumped from the island, angering many fans.
A fan on Twitter wrote: “Lowkey in denial that Shannon is actually gone. I’ll just sit and wait for her to come back.”

A viewer also wrote: “Wait, Shannon is already gone?! that’s hardly fair omg.”
