If you are loading up Fortnite hoping to find General Grievous or get your hands on a Wookie Bowcaster, you will be disappointed. The v35.10 Fortnite update has been postponed. Find out below when to expect the Fortnite v35.10 update this week.
Fortnite v35.10 update release date and everything you need to know
The Fortnite v35.10 update was originally scheduled for Thursday, May 15; however, due to unforeseen circumstances, it has been postponed until Friday, May 16. The schedule should remain the same, despite the change in date.
Updates of this kind tend to have downtime of around 12 hours, starting at 3am CT. If this changes, we will be sure to keep you in the loop.

This latest update adds some much-anticipated weaponry and Star Wars-themed items to the game, including the Wookie Bowcaster and Mandalorian Jetpack. The jetpack, in particular, is a welcome addition as an extra bit of kit to avoid lightsabers and as a traversal item. According to Fortnite leaks from ShiinaBR on X, the CA-87 Jawa Scatter Blaster should also be added to the loot pool. You may also find the WESTAR-34 Blaster Pistol and Amban Sniper Rifle after this next update, but this is not yet confirmed.
As the Wookie Bowcaster and Mandalorian Jetpack are due to arrive, we assume the corresponding NPCs will also be part of the update. So, we could also see the Mandalorian wandering a Star Wars location, and Chewbacca at a bar in the Outpost Enclave.
Aside from a few usable items, the update will freshen up the item shop with new cosmetics and outfits, including the Darth Jar Jar skin and other Star Wars cosmetics. General Grievous is due to be available in the battle pass as the bonus skin, and as usual, he will be unlocked by gaining levels as you play.
Fans of The Walking Dead will be pleased to hear that the v34.10 update will also bring new Creative maps based on the hit HBO zombie drama, so keep an eye out for those!
