The FA Cup third round draw is almost upon us and it sees the Premier League teams enter the fray as Manchester United and Manchester City await their fate.
Hundreds of teams entered the competition back in August for the early season qualifying round and now the juggernauts will be added to the mix, in what is the 150th edition of the world's oldest football competition.
Last season, the third round draw saw minnows Marine AFC paired with then-manager Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur.
United will be hoping to improve on their showing in the competition as they could only reach the quarter-finals last year before bowing out to eventual winners Leicester City. Pep Guardiola's side stumbled in the semi-final as they were edged out Chelsea.
In the last campaign, at this stage, United were drawn with Watford whilst City were handed a home tie against Birmingham City.
Both sides have already been knocked out of the other English domestic cup, the Carabao Cup, with West Ham victorious in both the third and fourth round.
Kidderminster Harriers and Chesterfield, of the National League North and National League respectively, both overcame higher opposition as Northern Premier League side Buxton were beaten by Football League opposition in the form of Morecambe.
Salford City exited on Sunday as they were beaten by the Spirerites whilst Wigan Athletic needed a Callum Lang brace to see off Colchester United.
Fellow Greater Manchester side Rochdale were also knocked out as Ryan Lowe had Luke Jephcott to thank for sealing Plymouth Argyle's place in the hat.
