The British Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, July 19, in front of a capacity crowd of 140,000, organisers have confirmed.
The weekend of racing at Silverstone will therefore host the biggest UK crowd since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Both Formula 1 grands prix held at the historic circuit in Northamptonshire last year took place behind closed doors.
This year, ticket holders will be required either to be fully vaccinated or have proof of a negative Covid-19 lateral flow test taken within 48 hours of arrival.
A full crowd is anticipated as the title fight between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen intensifies.
The timings of the weekend will be slightly different than normal as F1 trials a new format.
Friday will see drivers take part in a single hour-long practice session ahead of qualifying at 6pm, which sets the grid for the following day.
On Saturday, a second practice session will take place followed by a 100km sprint race at 4.30pm.
The finishing order of this race then sets the grid for the traditional grand prix on Sunday, which gets underway from 3pm.
The weekend will be broadcast live on Sky Sports and free-to-air on Channel 4.
