When is the England and Ukraine Euro 2020 quarter-final?

Raheem Sterling continued his rich vein of scoring form against Germany with his tap-in 15 minutes to go as Harry Kane added to the scoring in the last five minutes to send England into the quarter-finals of Euro 2020.

The fiercely competitive match saw few chances with Germany having the best chance of the first and early second half through Chelsea duo Timo Werner and Kai Havertz but Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford made two superb saves.

It was the first time England knocked out Germany in the knockout stage of a competition since the World Cup in 1966 which the Three Lions won.

The stars almost aligned for Gareth Southgate's side when Thomas Muller squander a guilt-edged one on one opportunity after the goalscorer had his pockets by Toni Kroos.

That piece of silverware remains the last taste of glory that the English national team won with Bobby Moore and Geoff Hurst proving the difference for Alf Ramsey's side 55 years ago.

With Holland, France and Portugal all dumped out and on the other side of the draw, much has been disclosed that the route to the final is in Harry Kane and co's favour.

When is the quarter-final?

The quarter-final will be played on Saturday, 3 July in Rome.

Kick off will be at 8pm on BBC One.

Who will they play?

They will play the victors of Ukraine and Sweden.
