When is the Euro 2020 draw and who Wales are likely to play?

Wales booked their place at Euro 2020 with a stunning 2-0 win over Hungary at Cardiff City Stadium.

A brace from Juventus star Aaron Ramsey did the trick for Ryan Giggs' men who earned a ticket to next year's tournament in some style.

Here's everything you need to know about the draw for the competition.

When is the Euro 2020 draw?

The draw takes place in Bucharest, Romania on Saturday, November 30.

Who has qualified automatically?

A total of 20 teams have already qualified, while there will be four additional teams that progress via the play-offs in March.

The teams to have qualified automatically are as follows:

Austria

Belgium

Croatia

Czech Republic

Denmark

England

Finland

France

Germany

Italy

Netherlands

Poland

Portugal

Russia

Spain

Sweden

Switzerland

Turkey

Ukraine

Wales

Who are Wales likely to play?

The draw is based on how sides performed in qualifying.

Qualified host nations will be pre-paired in the same groups.

The four pots based on seedings are as follows:

Pot 1:  Italy, Belgium, England, Germany, Ukraine, Spain

Pot 2:  France, Poland, Switzerland, Croatia, Netherlands, Russia

Pot 3:  Portugal, Turkey, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Czech Republic

Pot 4:  Wales, Finland, Playoff A, Playoff B, Playoff C, Playoff D

As Wales are in pot 4, they are set to play one team from each of the other three pots.

Due to the nature of the draw and the increased number of hosts, the matter is highly complicated. There is an initial suggestion Wales are set to play in Group A with Italy, or possibly Group B with Belgium, Denmark and Russia. This is because Groups C-F would carry host play-off paths, according to ESPN.

But clearly none of this is set in stone yet.

What is the format of the competition?

It follows the same format as Euro 2016.

There will be six groups, with four teams in each one.

The top two sides in each group will progress to the knockout stages, along with the four best third-placed sides.

When is Euro 2020?

The competitions runs from June 12 to July 12 next summer.
