When is the Copa del Rey last-16 draw?

The Copa del Rey has a new format for the 2019/20 season.

Instead of two-legged ties all the way through until the final, as in previous editions, winners will be decided in one-off matches this time around.

LaLiga clubs now kick off their Copa campaigns in early January, instead of October, and the last 32 (which sees the sides involved in the Spanish Supercopa joining the competition) is taking place between Tuesday and Thursday this week.

Real Zaragoza, Osasuna and Sevilla all advanced on Tuesday's ties; Barcelona, Real Madrid and holders Valencia all beat Segunda B sides on Wednesday, and Atletico in action on Thursday.

All of the winners will be decided this week, with extra time and penalties ahead if games end level.

The draw for the last 16 of the competition takes place at 13:00 CET (midday UK time) on Friday, January 24 and can be followed via a live stream on the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) website and on their social channels.
