When is the Close to Me release date and what is the Channel 4 thriller about?

Channel 4's latest thriller Close to Me tells the story of a couple in crisis and is set to hit your TV screens very soon.

Connie Nielsen and Doctor Who’s Christopher Eccleston play the people in the failing relationship.

The show is based on a book by the same name by Amanda Reynolds.

Nielsen told the Radio Times that the show was a “coming of age” story for older female viewers, with a focus on the “transformation” menopausal women go through.

When is the Close to Me release date?

Close To Me premieres on Channel 4 on Sunday, November 7 at 9 pm. The six-part series will be box-setted on All 4 following the first episode’s airing.

What is Close to Me about?

The six-part series tells the story of a woman who supposedly has it all, but following a fall an entire year of memories vanishes for her.

She struggles to piece her life together and quickly realises that her life wasn't so great.

Someone is keeping a very dark secret from her, raising tensions throughout the show.
