Liverpool rubber-stamped their Champions League credentials with a 2-1 win over AC Milan at the San Siro.
Mohamed Salah equalised for the Reds, shortly after Fikayo Tomori had given Milan the lead, before Divock Origi headed in the winner in the second half.
The victory meant Liverpool ended their supposed ‘Group of Death’ with six wins from six games, becoming the first English side to finish the Champions League group stage with a perfect record.

When is the Champions League last 16 draw?
The draw will take place at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on Monday, December 13.
It begins at 11am and will be broadcast live on BT Sport 1 from 10:45am until midday. The draw will also be available to stream on the UEFA website here .
When will the round of 16 ties take place?
The first leg of the last-16 fixtures will be split into two weeks, with one set of games taking place on February 15/16 and the remaining matches on February 22/23.
Similarly, half of the second-leg ties will be played between March 8/9, while the round will be completed on March 15/16.
As a group winner, Liverpool have qualified for the last 16 as a seeded team, meaning the second leg of their tie will be played at Anfield.
Notably, UEFA have removed the away goals rule for this year’s competition, with games going into extra-time if the scores are level on aggregate at the end of the second leg.
