Champions League final date, kick-off time and venue

Liverpool will play in the the 2018-19 Champions League final - so it's time for fans to put the date and kick-off time in the diary.

Jurgen Klopp's side produced another one of their famous European comebacks against Barcelona in the semi-finals.

Despite trailing 3-0 from the first-leg, the Reds completed one of the most dramatic comebacks in the club's history, with braces from Divock Origi and Georginio Wijnaldum handing Klopp's side a 4-0 win at Anfield.

The victory secured a second successive final for the Reds and below is all the information ahead of the final.

Final date and venue

The 2018-19 Champions League final will take place on Saturday 1 June, 2019.

The match will be played at the 68,000-capacity Estadio Metropolitano in Spain.

The ground is the home of Atletico Madrid - and the Spanish side moved into their current home in September 2017.

Kick-off is scheduled for 8pm UK time.

Yes, the final is on TV.

Like all games in this season's Champions League, the match will be shown on BT Sport.

Who will the Reds play?

Liverpool will play either Spurs or Ajax in Madrid.

The Dutch side currently hold a 1-0 lead from the first-leg, and the two meet in their second-leg tomorrow night.
