When is Carabao Cup third round draw? Manchester United and Manchester City ball numbers confirmed

Many of the Premier League's elite will learn their first opponent in the Carabao Cup during the third round draw.

Due to their participation in European competition, Manchester City and Manchester United didn't enter the draw at the second round but will enter the hat alongside Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and Wolves.

The Citizens are the holders of the trophy after defeating Chelsea on penalties earlier in the year. City also lifted the League Cup in 2018 when they beat Arsenal 3-0 and are looking to make it three in a row this year.

But when will they find out their first opponents? Here is all you need to know.

When is the Carabao Cup third round draw?

The third round draw of the Carabao Cup will take place on Wednesday, August 28.

It will take place following the conclusion of Lincoln City's fixture against Everton.

The draw is expected to start around 10pm.

What TV channel is the Carabao Cup third round draw on?

It will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football.

The fixtures are scheduled to take place week commencing September 23.
